2016-2017 Knowledge @ Noon Series

 

Where:  Williams Hall - Roemmele Global Commons

When:  Thursday, March 23, 2017 - 12:00pm

Led by Sarah Stanlick, Director, Center for Community Engagement and Professor of Practice, Sociology and Anthropology, the Knowledge @ Noon session will focus on the Center for Community Engagement and Global Citizenship.  The CCE assists Lehigh's faculty, staff, and students who are involved with service-learning classes or community-based research projects, mobilizes university-community partnerships to address societal challenges, promotes knowledge and research for the common good, and helps cultivate engaged citizens.

Bring your lunch - snacks will be provided.

NOTE:  BeWell members will receive 25 points for attending.  No need to RSVP, a sign up sheet will be provided at the session.

 

Where:  Additive Manufacturing Lab in the Wilbur Powerhouse

When:  Thursday, February 23, 2017 - 12:00noon

ERAC invites you to attend a Knowledge @ Noon with Brian Slocum, Director of Lehigh University's Additive Manufacturing Lab.  Come learn about the various 3D technologies, how they are being used in industry, and how they are being used by students and faculty campus-wide at Lehigh.  SEATING IS LIMITED - registration is required.

Come hear about the fantastic line up of concerts the Music Department has planned for Spring Semester:  We will be raffling off a gift basket, there will be a short tour of Baker Hall, and an announcement will be made regarding a special ticket offer for Music Events this semester!

Sandwiches and drinks will be provided!

Led by Genna Albano, Fitness Center Assistant Manager and Mary Jo McNulty, Human Resources Associate, the Knowledge at Noon session will focus on how the Fitness Center and the BeWell program work hand-in-hand.  This session will focus on how Lehigh employees can use the BeWell program to track their overall well-being, including physical as well as financial well-being.

Where:  Lehigh University Police Department - 321 East Packer Avenue

When:  Thursday, November 10 - 12:10pm

Join ERAC for a Knowledge @ Noon session to tour the newly built Lehigh University Policy Department.  The tour will be followed by a question and answer session with the Chief of Police.  Light refreshments will be served.

ERAC invites you to attend a Knowledge @ Noon with Ilena Key, Assistant Director of the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning as well as Judd Hark, Instructional Technologist for the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning.  Ilena is responsible for managing the Instructional Technology Team, COE LTS support team and for helping to coordinate programming and initiatives for the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning.  Judd is managing the creation of new teaching and learning spaces in EWFM and across campus.
