Glenn S. Piper, LTS Help Desk

Glenn actively serves the Boy Scout program in the Hawk Mountain Council, BSA.  He has served as an Assistant Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 529, Gibraltar, for 37 continuous years, and is a past Pack and Troop Committee Chairman.  He currently serves as Associate Advisor of Administration in the Kittatinny Lodge of the Order of the Arrow, and has served as an advisor of various committees of that organization for 27 continuous years.  He has served on the staff of 3 Wood Badge courses and numerous other training programs in the Hawk Mountain Council.  He has served a total of 7 years as a District Roundtable commissioner in the Frontier District.  He was an Assistant Scoutmaster for the 1993 National Scout Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill, VA, and has organized and led 5 trips to Scouting high adventure bases at Philmont, NM, the Florida Keys, and the Bahamas.  In Scouting he has been honored with the Frontiersman Award, District Award of Merit, the Silver Beaver award, and the Founder's Award for his volunteer work.  In addition to his Scouting activities, Glenn currently serves as President of his church, St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Gibraltar, and has served on various committees to his church for many years.  He is also the historian, webmaster, and Facebook group manager for the Bitler Family Organization, his maternal family tree line.
