REACH (Resources to Engage, Accomplish, Connect & Help) is an on-campus learning opportunity offered through ERAC (The Employee Relations Advisory Committee). This program offers presentations from different areas of the University (e.g. Alumni Relations, First-Year Experience, Iacocca Institute, Council on Equity and Community) to provide a sense of what each does and how it serves the Lehigh community. Time is also allocated for networking and casual information sharing.

Meetings occur monthly, starting in the fall. Session topics are driven by cohort suggestions. Each session will run from 12 noon-1:00 pm and the meeting format will include a 30 minute participant networking (bring your own lunch) followed by a 1 hour session / presentation.

Participants should commit to all sessions and sessions are only open to registered cohort participants. Sessions will also provide time for participants to discuss how the information learned could be relevant to their work and how they could envision collaborating with the presenters and with members of the cohort.

The 2023-24 cohort has begun. Please check this page and your email next fall to join us in 2024-25.

  • Participants in the 2022-23 cohort had the opportunity to share their thoughts, and some took the opportunity to share the benefits of REACH:

    • "As a new employee, this was a great introduction to the university and to the staff on campus. From this I've forged a solid friendship that has grown since the end of REACH."

    • "I loved it! It's easy to get tunnel vision and only know about one's own department or college, but the whole of Lehigh is so much greater than its parts. Would absolutely recommend to anyone."

    • "I enjoyed participating in REACH and think it is a great way for staff to feel connected to campus. There are so many different departments and this is a helpful way to become more informed as well as meet staff members that I wouldn't otherwise meet."

    • "This was a wonderful way to network and learn so many new things! Thank you!"
